Watch out for this social media · impersonating Checkers Google Wallet

The trick it’s trying

A fake Google Wallet image claims to be a Checkers gift card worth ZAR 4,000, with barcode and redemption number, likely used to trick victims into believing they have a valid voucher or to phish during “activation”.

Fake voucher/gift-card image is circulated with a high-value Checkers reward, likely leading to bogus activation, personal-data capture, or payment requests.
